I work as a Senior Technical Writer on the Apple Pay Partner Engineering team where we help partner organizations integrate and build with our products. The Apple Pay team is growing—view opportunities on Careers at Apple.

I have experience working on distributed, cross-functional teams to create high-quality documentation that is clear, accurate, consistent, usable, and actionable for a global audience. I am conversant in user experience (UX) research and information architecture (IA) principles, and I bring to my documentation work the abilities to quickly become a subject matter expert (SME), establish trust and rapport in multidisciplinary teams, and draw on my strengths in systems thinking, problem-solving, and project management to develop and maintain effective documentation systems and style guides for emerging technologies in fast-paced, high-growth work environments.

Previously, I worked as a full-stack technical writer at Kustomer to perfect customer and developer experiences. I collaborated with Product, Engineering, CX, and Product Marketing teams to launch a developer portal, migrate REST APIs to the OAS format, design UX copy, develop style guides, and maintain the product knowledge base.

Before that, I worked as a Senior Technical Writer with Formlabs, an industry-leading 3D printer company. As a member of the Customer Experience team at Formlabs, I worked closely with colleagues in Product, Engineering, Customer Support, Marketing, Software, Materials, Operations, Sales, Legal, and Design to develop, audit, and scale internal and external documentation for existing and forthcoming products, as well as documentation processes, systems, and localization strategies. And before that, I worked to make the Open Web more inclusive as the Communications Manager with Bocoup, an open source web development and web developer training consultancy. And before that, I worked as a Research Associate at the Harvard Business School (HBS) with the Public Education Leadership Project (PELP), a joint-initiative between the Harvard Business School and Graduate School of Education. At HBS, I also developed case studies and researched the edtech sector for the course Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovations in Education (ETIE).

I am always looking for ways to innovate and experiment with language through my poetry and translation practice. My poetry and translations have been published or are forthcoming in the following literary magazines and anthologies: Black Warrior Review, Electric Literature, Pleiades, FENCE, BAX 2018 (Best American Experimental Writing Series, guest edited by Myung Mi Kim), Emergency Index: An Annual Document of Performance Practice, and elsewhere. I have presented my work at AWP 24, ALTA 46, the 2019 &Now Festival of Innovative Writing, and the Translation Across Disciplines conference at Brown University. I was a July 2019 VSC Fellowship Resident for Poetry at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnston, VT.

In 2020, I completed my MFA in Poetry with the Brown University Department of Literary Arts where I worked on an interdisciplinary thesis project that explores diasporic poetics, experimental translation, K-pop, and virtual performance. I also served as a Literary Arts Course Instructor at Brown where I designed and taught two highly-rated, inclusive introductory poetry writing courses geared toward an undergraduate audience.

While as a graduate member of the Literary Arts department at Brown, I pursued coursework in poetry, pedagogy, interdisciplinary performance, literary translation, and narrative prose with the following faculty: Thalia Field, Sawako Nakayasu, Eleni Sikelianos, Laird Hunt, Erica Hunt, and Mónica de la Torre.

I am active as an emerging literary translator (from Korean to English). In 2020-21, I worked on a translation mentorship with poet and Action Books co-founder Joyelle McSweeney supported by ALTA (American Literary Translators Association) and LTI Korea (Literature Translation Institute of Korea). Through the mentorship program, I started translating a collection of poems titled Today’s Morning Vocabulary by the South Korean poet and playwright Yoo Heekyung (유희경).

I sometimes contribute book reviews and essays on works by womxn, non-binary, and BIPOC writers. I have also edited fiction as an Assistant Editor for CONSEQUENCE Magazine, an international literary magazine focusing on the culture of war.

I perform as a poet and stand-up comedian. I believe inclusive community spaces are critical to nurturing creative growth and experimentation. To this end, I organize community arts events focused on experimental media and performance with an intentional emphasis on the inclusion and amplification of work by artists with identities and experiences underrepresented in mainstream discourse.

From 2018 to 2019, I produced three volumes of Chat Club PVD, a curated cabaret and series of experimental performance and media at AS220 in Providence, RI. I also worked with Providence-based writers and activists Kate Schapira and Christopher Joseph Lee to organize the reading series Publicly Complex in 2019.

At EMW Bookstore, an art/ tech/ community space in Boston, MA, I organized a tech and ethics salon which drew ~50 community members for thoughtful conversations around the role of technology in our lives.

In November 2015, I curated and produced a show and event series on the theme of CHANGES // △ // METAMORPHOSIS. The exhibition featured work by over 20 artists and included a Jellyfish Turing Test and an animated exploration of filth and solidity.

In October 2014, I curated an art exhibition on the theme of work at FIND & FORM SPACE gallery.

In April 2013, I performed every night of the month as the Comic-in-Residence at The Comedy Studio in Harvard Square.
